Oktoberfest

Another event I am super proud of spearheading is the annual Senior Celebration in Portage County. This event is held once a year to honor the senior population and to give out awards to seniors who have done incredible things in their community.

When I took over the role of PSSN President in 2020 one of my main goals was to bring this event back in a post pandemic world. Being able to successfully host this event is my greatest achievement as PSSN president. Our group was able to host over 230 seniors for lunch, German dancing and awards. Even though I was the one in charge of this event I could not have done it without my awesome PSSN volunteer members.

The seniors in attendance had nothing but rave reviews, from the lunch to entertainment (they LOVED our aprons the most).
