Bourbon & Bingo

One of my newer community outreach projects was joining the Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce and helping them out with their events. One of the first events I chaired was their annual fall fundraising event. The chamber had been hosting an annual clam bake every fall for years with the proceeds benefiting the chamber scholarship fund and I knew this event needed an overhaul. I am so pleased to say "Bingo and Bourbon was a success and a breath of fresh air.

As co-chair of this event I was in charge of event logistics, donations, auction items and decor (of course) while showing off the TMT brand as a member of the Streetsboro Chamber. The best way to do this? I chose to also sponsor the arrival welcome drink, It was a great way to be In front of and welcome everyone at the event.

The main event of the evening was the logo bingo. Businesses could pay and sponsor a bingo square during game play with their brand logo in the space. It was not only a great way to raise money but it also was a great way to show off local businesses.

From sponsorships and auction items to 50/50 and cigar sales I am pleased to say that we were able to raise over $5,000.00 for the scholarship fund. The event was a great time had by all and I couldn't have done it without my co-chair and the other members of the chamber board.
