Winter in the Wild

I was again asked to be a committee member and decoration sponsor for this years Holiday Party of the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce and of course I said yes, you know me and events. This year's theme? Winter in the Wild, held appropriately at the Akron Zoo! Each main sponsor received signage, a table, gift bags for their donation. They also received a custom cardboard creation zoo animal corresponding to the animal sponsorship the chose -made by hand by yours truly!

All the animals lined the entrance to the zoo and our main event space and they were loved by all. I actually had to keep an eye on them as people were attempting to steal them throughout the night (can you blame them? 😂 )

I will say, creating these may have been my most tedious and time consuming cardboard work to date. I would say each animal took about three to four hours to complete when you factored in paint drying time. Still, I was up to the task and was thrilled they were so beloved.
